Jake: I heard dad talking to someone...how come you guys never told me you were close to having a divorce.

Jake's Mom: That was a long, long, long time ago Jake. Before you were born. All couples fight and I really don't want to even think about that.
Jake: Dad said you lied this entire time.
Jake's Mom: Jake, nothing is going on with your father and I. He was probably just talking to his parents or Karen.
Jake: Karen? The cafe lady? Why would he be talking to her about a divorce that never happened?
Jake's Mom: She's probably one of the few people who knew we were going to divorce. Maybe they were reminiscing on old times. We used to be really good friends with her. I'm going to go lay down.
*Watches her walk away*

Ok scratch that, I might not be adopted but my dad may be cheating on my mom with the cafe lady. I know a cheater when I see one and my dad was acting super suspicious when I caught his phone convo.
