News: Kat Graham and Nico Tortorella leaving OTH, following Billie Lourd’s exit
Fans have long been speculating if Graham’s character, resident girl next door Nikki Palmer, would be leaving since early season 3, due to the direction the writers have been taking her with the re-emergence of her father and sudden decision to move.
Early this morning, the former Vampire Diaries star reported to twitter to squash all rumors, tweeting to her fans that she will indeed be leaving One Tree Hill:
Sources report that Graham and her co-star, Fifth Harmony’s Camila Cabello, did not get along “at all”. An anonymous source tipped “they’d often have to shoot scenes together and often time rehearsals led to Kat's weave being snatched and Camila being bitched slapped." Rumors have also spread that Cabello and Graham got into a different physical altercation over Graham’s alleged feelings for Cabello’s on-screen romance, Colton Haynes. Haynes and Cabello both refused to comment on the situation and the status of their relationship off the TV screen.
This isn’t the only co-star Cabello has had issues with while on the sets of One Tree Hill. Earlier this month, reports cited Nico Tortorella will not be renewing his contract for the fourth season due to “indifferences with Cabello.” After taking to youtube to express himself, Tortorella declared “working with Camila is a nightmare and I wouldn’t be surprised if more people follow suit [with] my choices.” His youtube rant concluded with “She thinks she’s the star of the show so she can do whatever she wants” and “She dictates all the scenes. She stopped a sex-scene between two people halfway-through to give them pointers on what to do. Like bitch we get it you’ve opened your legs for half the male cast! Yeah that’s right she’s a fraud and Shawn Mendez if you know what’s good for you, you’d end whatever you two have going on.”
Although, initially-contracted as a main-cast for season 3, Tortorella refused to have any scenes with Cabello, which prompted the writers to pull the #RicoBreakUp arc, allowing Tortorella to be absent in most scenes involving Cabello. The Singer-turned-Actress, Cabello took to twitter to fight off the allegations made by Tortorella but deleted her tweets shortly after. Mendez is yet to make a comment.
Graham, also returned to twitter to state her opinion on the matter and going to extremes to accuse Cabello of sleeping with former X-Factor Judge, Simon Cowell during Cabello’s time in the competition. The other members of Fifth Harmony tweeted back and defended longtime-bandmate Cabello.
These two won’t be the only characters to make their exit on One Tree Hill. We reported last month that actress, Billie Lourd, who plays the super-gross-rich, Presley Bell will also be exiting the show due to scheduling conflicts with prior commitments for Scream Queens Season 2, where she will be reprising her role as Chanel #3. Lourd’s character will be seen moving to the Hampton's in the season finale.
